Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Center the Affiliated Beijing Tongren Hospital of Capital Medical University

In 2006, the Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Center was founded, The center is actually composed of two intimately-related institutions: Beijing Institute of Otolaryngology and Department of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery of Beijing Tongren Hospital, which contains four sub-departments and nine clinical centers, with nearly 300 beds, it became a rarely large department in China. We provide clinical care to more than 160,000 outpatients and accomplish more than 7,000 cases of operation every year. There are 8 doctoral tutors and 12 master’s tutors in our center. More than 200 learning physician are graduated and more than 10 seminars or classes are provided every year. We are in the leading place in the area of ESS, treatment of allergic rhinitis, combined management of OSAHS, cochlea implant, early interventional treatment of laryngeal precancerous conditions and early laryngeal carcinoma and conservative surgery of advanced laryngeal cancer. The close collaboration between our physicians and scientists is one of our unique strengths, enabling us to provide patients with the best care available today as we work to discover more effective strategies to prevent, control, and ultimately cure otolaryngological diseases.
